Toyota Corolla is a compact car that is manufactured by the ever so popular Japanese manufacturer, Toyota. The Corolla line was first introduced in the year 1966. In the year 1997, it became the best selling name plate in the world. More than thirty-five million Corolla’s had been sold as of the year 2007. On average, one Toyota Corolla is sold every forty seconds. This is amazing for this car manufacturer.
Since the release of the Toyota Corolla, it has gone under many re-vamps as far as performance and design go. It will continue to advance in hopes it will continue to sell in great numbers. Toyota is well-known for consistently and continuously advancing the vehicles in which they manufacture.
The Corolla is manufactured not only in Japan, but also in the following countries as well: Brazil, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Venezuela. Toyota Etios Liva Review and Specifications
Toyota Etios Liva is an upcoming car and first hatchback of Toyota India. It was unveiled in 2010 at Auto Expo India. It will go for sale by the last week of March 2011 in India. The company is also planning to launch it in Russia, South America and other popular markets as well. Honda India is planning to launch its small car Honda Brio in 2011. So these two models will fight each other. It will also give strong competition for Hyundai i10, Maruti Swift, Chevy Beat and upcoming Maruti Cervo.
Well speaking on its inside features, it is a five seater with wide dashing board. It looks astounding with twin tone color. It has several common interior features like Steering mounted audio controls, Rear wiper/washer, AC, power windows, power steering with adjustment; remote central locking and Dash integrated music system. It will give sufficient space for all passengers. Head and leg room is good. It disappoints you when it comes to luggage part where you need to compromise on it. It gives only little amount of space to carry your luggage. Other than this everything is extraordinary.
The forthcoming hatchback is expected to equip with a powerful 1.2 petrol engine with 4 valves. It will be able to generate maximum power of 80bhp and torque is yet to be declared.
